About The Way Station

The Way Station is a community of young adults who gather together for food, fellowship, discussion and worship.  We gather on the third Tuesday of every month from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at First Christian Church of North Kansas City (2018 Gentry Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116). 

The Way Station is not a congregation in and of ourselves.  We are made up of members of a variety of congregations (mostly Disciples of Christ), individuals who are not currently tied to any other faith community, and individuals who have never been members of a church.  We are supported by a number of faith communities – churches that provide us with meeting space and/or meals. 

Our first meeting took place on August 16th, 2011.  The evening was filled with people, lasagna, laughter, candlelight and prayer station worship.
